Travel Counsellors launches data tool for SME clients

Travel Counsellors for Business has introduced its first data and insights tool designed specifically to cater to the needs of SME clients, the company announced on Wednesday (24 April).

The move from the UK-based homeworking specialist comes as a direct result of its recently-agreed deal with data specialist Travelogix, which sees the latter provide ‘on-demand access’ to data via its Analytix reporting tool.

The new platform for Travel Counsellors for Business, known myTC Insights, includes an ‘extensive’ suite of features that both travel counsellors and clients can access, such as customisable reporting options, data downloads and Co2 emissions data via an integration with Thrust Carbon.

Travel Counsellors for Business managing director, Kieran Hartwell, said: “The introduction of myTC Insights is a significant step forward, empowering our corporate travel counsellors and clients with seamless access to the latest data reports.

“This will enable our business owners to scale their businesses even further in a way that suits them by giving them more time to do what they do best – driving sales growth and building client relationships.”

Travelogix founder and CEO Chris Lewis, added: “We consider it a privilege to be entrusted with overseeing the data and reporting requirements for Travel Counsellors for Business. The potential for scalability in this partnership is tremendous… We look forward to further innovative collaboration and progress in the future as we start on this journey together.”

The myTC Insights launch follows the recent introduction of the company’s first online booking tool for corporate clients. Manchester-based Travel Counsellors hopes the OBT will help to fuel its growth in the corporate market, which saw the firm record business travel bookings in 2023.
