Thalapathy Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj’s ‘Master’ to re-release in Europe | Tamil Movie News – Times of India



Vijay, the renowned South African actor, has delivered several box office blockbusters, and he holds a strong record for himself. The 2021 Tamil release ‘Master‘ is one of the blockbuster films of Vijay, and the actor joined hands with director Lokesh Kanagaraj for the first time for the action drama. Now, the latest update is that ‘Master’ is gearing up to re-release in theaters, but not in Tamil Nadu.’Master’ will be re-released in theaters in Europe soon, and the film’s distribution partner officially confirmed the re-release through their social media page. More updates about the re-release are slated to be unveiled soon, however it’s going to be a massive re-release for sure.

After the mega success of Vijay’s ‘Ghilli’ re-release, makers of several films by the actor have been expressing their interest in re-releasing their respective films. Vijay’s 2009 release ‘Villu’ is scheduled to have a re-release in June, and it’s going to be busy days for fans ahead of the actor’s next release, ‘GOAT’, which is locked to release in theaters on September 5.
Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, ‘Master’ features Vijay, Vijay Sethupathi, and Malavika Mohanan in the lead roles, and the film had music scored by Anirudh Ravichander. The action drama is about a college professor who alters his ego after joining a juvenile. ‘Master’ was the first big release in theaters after the pandemic attack, and the film went on to earn over Rs 250 crore by reviving the theatrical business.
