Radisson RED to debut in Ireland

Radisson Hotels Group will launch its first Radisson Red property in Ireland later this year with the planned opening of a new hotel in Galway.

The new-build hotel will feature 177 rooms, a rooftop bar and restaurant and more than 400 sqm of meeting and event space.

Slated to open in October, the hotel is located within the city’s Crown Square mixed-use development, which includes apartments and sustainable office buildings within a five-minute drive from the city centre and its main train station. It is approximately an hour’s drive from Shannon Airport and a two-hour drive from Dublin city and Dublin airport.

The fast-expanding Radisson RED portfolio features more than 85 hotels currently in operation or under development, including recent brand debuts in Serbia, Finland and Berlin. Radisson RED London Twickenham is also expected to open in 2025, followed by Radisson RED Edinburgh Airport, which is planned to open “in the next couple of years”, according to the hotel group.
