JetBlue launches daily New York-Edinburgh service

JetBlue this week launched daily non-stop flights between New York and Edinburgh as the carrier continues its transatlantic network expansion.

The seasonal summer service, which will run through to 30 September, is operated on Airbus A321neo aircraft that feature 16 ‘Mint Suite’ seats (pictured) and 144 economy seats.

Flights from New York John F. Kennedy International Airport depart at 21:12 and arrive at Edinburgh International Airport at 9:30 the following day. Meanwhile, flights depart the Scottish capital at 12:30 and arrive in New York at 15:06.

The new service is the second direct offering on the route, after Delta’s seasonal JFK-Edinburgh service, and follows JetBlue’s recently launched services between Dublin and both Boston and New York JFK airports, and from Boston to Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport.
