MK Dons to Win & Both Teams to Score

MK Dons have an absolute mountain to climb if they’re to advance to the League Two Final next week. The hosts are 3-0 down on aggregate thanks to a disastrous first leg on Tuesday last. However, the Dons finished the season strongly on home soil, winning three, drawing one, and losing one, scoring a mammoth 16 goals, while conceding 10.

Crawley can really just weather the storm here which they should manage as they’ve gone unbeaten over their last four games and on their recent travels have won three, drawn one, and lost one, scoring a healthy 14 goals while conceding eight. The host’s superior goal-scoring form should see them winning on the night but Crawley should be scoring against a rather leaky defence. We’re backing the MK Dons to Win coupled with Both Teams to Score.

Serie A match at the San Siro, Milan
TV: TNT Sports, Saturday, 7:45pm

Over 2.5 Goals

AC Milan’s home Serie A form has seen them winning two, drawing two, and losing one, scoring nine while conceding six, while their overall league form has seen them winning one, drawing three, and losing one.

Cagliari are three points above the relegation zone and will be eyeing next week’s game away to Sassuolo as the one that should save them as Sassuolo are second from bottom, four points behind. The away side have won one, drawn two, and lost two over their last five on the road, scoring four and conceding seven. We’re likely looking at a 2-1, or 3-0 here so Over 2.5 Goals makes the best sense.

Olivier Giroud to Score

Milan’s French striker Olivier Giroud has bagged two over his last five in the league as well as two over his last five on home soil. Portugal’s Rafael Leao is in similarly good form but we’re siding with the Frenchman here as his record against Cagliari has seen him score more goals per game than his teammate.

Giroud is going to be hungry for goals in his final Milan matches before he departs for LAFC in the MLS so we reckon we should see him among the goals over their remaining fixtures.

La Liga match at the San Memes, Bilbao
TV: LaLiga TV, Premier Sports, Saturday, 8pm

Under 2.5 Goals

It’s difficult to see a boatload of goals being scored for this one. Athletic Bilboa have only scored seven goals over their last five at home in La Liga and only one of those games saw Over 2.5 Goals landing. We’ve seen Overs landing in three of Osasuna’s last five on their road but they’ve only managed to score five goals over those games.

Add to this the fact that the home side’s talisman Gorka Guruzeta is out for the remainder of the seasons and we’re rather unlikely to be in for a goalfest here.
