Finnair and IAG Loyalty expand partnership

Members of Finnair’s Finnair Plus loyalty programme and British Airways Executive Club programme from 22 May can link their accounts and transfer Avios currency between accounts, Finnair announced on Tuesday. 

The move is the “next step” of Finnair adopting Avios as its loyalty currency as of 9 March, following a partnership with IAG Loyalty, according to the airline.

The Avios reward currency is also used by the respective loyalty programmes of Qatar Airways, Iberia, Vueling and Aer Lingus.

Members of the British Airways Executive Club can also link their account with Qatar Airways Privilege Club or the Iberia Plus programme.
