American Golf, Europe’s biggest golf retailer, will re-open in new premises on Sweet Briar Retail Park, following the closure of its shop on Guardian Road in Norwich.

The sports retailer, which has 88 stores in the UK, said the bigger site meant it could install new custom fitting bays, kitted out with GC3 launch monitors and an in-store putting green.

It will also introduce a bigger range of clothing lines to its offering, with more options for women and children.

Scott Taylor, a director at American Golf, said: “We’re excited to open a new store in Norwich, which promises to bring an elevated American Golf experience to a popular retail park.

“With the latest industry innovations, technology and product offerings, we hope to inspire the next generation of golfers by offering an unparalleled shopping experience.”

American Golf’s new shop follows a slate of openings at the retail park over the past couple of years, with brands including TK Maxx and Poundland both moving to the Hellesdon site.
