Etihad Airways will introduce its super-jumbo A380 aircraft on routes from Abu Dhabi to Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport from 1 November, 2024.

The French capital will be the third major city serviced by the carrier’s A380 aircraft, following its reintroduction on routes to London Heathrow and its launch earlier this week on services to New York.

The carrier’s double-decker aircraft features The Residence, a private apartment that includes a living room, private bedroom and ensuite bathroom with a shower, and three cabin classes – nine First Apartments, 70 Business Studios and 405 Economy Seats. There’s also a serviced lounge and bar area available to travellers in First and Business class.

Business class seats, all located in the upper deck, also include wifi connectivity.

The carrier’s daily service to Paris departed Abu Dhabi at 02.40 and arrives in the French city at 07.30. Meanwhile, flights from Paris depart at 09.45 and arrive in the UAE capital at 19.25.

Etihad Airways CEO Antonoaldo Neves, said: “The introduction of the A380 on the Abu Dhabi–Paris route enriches both leisure and corporate travel. It underscores Etihad’s commitment to facilitating business connections and travel to Abu Dhabi and beyond.”
