Cheapest holiday destinations to fly to in June include Europe’s Pink City

Just before the start of the British summer holidays, June is a fantastic month to get away with good weather and cheaper prices than July and August.

But where are the cheapest destinations to fly to in June?

These prices are for flight only so tourists may need to pay extra to select a seat or bring luggage.

From France’s gorgeous Pink City to an underrated capital city, there’s plenty of budget flights on offer in June.

Copenhagen, Denmark

Express.co.uk found flights to Copenhagen for £26 from Edinburgh, £34 from Bristol and London and £37 from Manchester.

Denmark’s capital city is one of Europe’s coolest destinations and it’s at its best in early summer. Residents can be found relaxing at streetside cafes, rollerskating on the streets or enjoying the riverside.

If the weather doesn’t play ball, Copenhagen’s top-rated museums such as the Designmuseum and Nationalmuseet offer a delightful way to spend a rainy day.

Tirana, Albania

Albania is the destination on everyone’s mind this year and the country’s capital is one of Europe’s most exciting city breaks. Visit one of the city’s Bunk’Art museums to get to grips with Tirana’s history or relax in Skanderbeg Square.

If you’d prefer to visit the beach, Durres, one of the country’s resorts, is under an hour’s drive from Tirana.

Toulouse, France
