From Belgian waffles to French macarons and German pretzels, the Europe Day celebrations in Delhi turned into a mini food festival. The culinary delights of EU member states were on display for all the diplomats who had gathered. With food stalls set-up by 24 member states, the guests got the opportunity to experience Europe through its food at the event hosted by Herve Delphin, Ambassador of the European Union.

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, who was the chief guest at the event, extended his warm wishes and said, “As the ambassador said, today the relationship between India and the European Union is not only consequential for each one of us, but for the world as well. The European Union is not only our largest economic partner, but it is more than that. It is the entity with which we have a deep relationship spanning many domains.”
