THE PREDICTION

Al Ahly’s 2022 FIFA Club World Cup run came to an end at the semi-final stage as they were comprehensively beaten by Real Madrid. They now have a chance to secure third-place against Brazilian side Flamengo, who are no doubt still smarting after suffering a surprise defeat at the hands of Al Hilal, which saw them give away two penalties and have a man sent off. Although this game is only for the right to finish in third-place, a reaction is expected from Flamengo who will surely want to put their semi-final ordeal behind them as quickly as possible. Whilst this should be considerably closer than the Al Ahly vs Real Madrid semi-final, the Egyptian side are still expected to wind up on the losing side.
